....I'm done. W00t.

I was sent on an errand at work today, and a $5 bill came flying down the sidewalk. Being the good little capitalist that I am, I couldn't stand to see money so blatantly discarded, so I picked it up. Then immediately thought, I need to give this away to someone. Because the money was found, but not earned by any means, I couldn't justify keeping it. I wanted to stick it in those tubs for the 'Feed the homeless' setups around Washington Square, but oddly enough nobody was out there today.

So on my way home I dropped the whole thing in some homeless beggar's cup. Because really, it was bothering me to have it in my pocket. A little voice kept screaming that it wasn't right to keep it because it wasn't mine.

The office gave me a $20 gift certificate for the NYU bookstore --which is awesome, but sadly will probably be used for textbooks. And book buybacks totally sucked --once again, no one's using the books my teachers made us buy this semester.

I've gotten two hours of sleep out of the past 34 hours. O_o wooo....

My Hall o' Famer Nienanniny is at it again. Seriously, most Fluffydummies go away after being laughed at more than twice. She keeps coming back. It's like she's too stupid to recognize her mockability.

"I was in English class today, and my teacher announced that we were going to watch "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller. It is about the Blair witch project. So far it has been the most annoying movie I've seen about witches and witchcraft. In the movie they were calling a witch; "one who worships the devil". Then my English teacher said that witches worship satan! I was like, "wtf, do you know about witches?" I was thinking about the real term for witch meant, isn't a witch just someone who heals and summons spirits away? There's nothing bad about it, is there?

I was outragous, and I am tempted to speak to my class about witches and witchcraft and actually educate them about the real meanings. Instead of relying on the holidwood verisons of witches, etc.

I know I am probably going to get flammed, but don't you agree?"

She later edited it to say that, rather than the badly made cultural phenomenon that was the Blair Witch Project, Miller's play was about the "Salem witch project." Ladies and gents, I'm not even kidding.

Seriously, I cannot justify that sort of ignorance and stupidity. And 'holidwood' is bizarre --the spelling isn't just a word, the letters are pop-culture icons and so should be in the average, moderately literate mind as "Hollywood." How is this girl able to function in life? I'm just bewildered by the persistence of her stubborn idiocy.

I'm catching up very slowly on the various people on my Flist, so this snark's a bit old.

And WTF there's Klingon Wicca??? Dark otherkin, aka otherkin the 'normal' otherkin won't play with? Metrospirituality? (Apparently environmentalism and intelligent consumerism packaged in the deeper values of the Whole Foods market experience. And as I understand, Beckham didn't invent 'metrosexual' by taking the 'he' from 'heterosexual' and replacing it with 'me.' Metro means urban cosmopolitan, catering to the savvy dressed sophisticates in city environments.) And all colors = white is not necessarily true outside of light theory...

I leave the net for a little over a week, and people go completely bonkers.

Heh. I should take a break more often. This resulting chaos is all rather amusing.
