When I heard that line, I had to go reread an old fic.
This fic is a crossover, MCR/BtVS, gen.
A reporter asks the band what they would be doing if not in a band, in their wildest dreams kinda thing. Frank, says a hitman for the mob, or maybe Batman, Gerard would fight vampires and monsters and help people. A young, untrained witch see the article and uses her power to make their ideas happen, in hopes of getting help for herself and her uncle, and boy does it work! Frank spends most of this fic thinking he *is* batman, tied up to keep him from harming himself(or provoking anyone into hurting him, lol!)
