A wonderful weekend of indulgence and relaxation. Began with watching Like Water for Chocolate - a romantic, sensual film. It reminded me of a mexican play I studied at A-Level (and can't recall the name of) - with lots of attention to symbolism, especially surrounding love and food. It is lovely, possibly my favourite spot. I hope to spend alot more time there. Hope to climb the 3 peaks by next summer!
I don't think I have posted photos of that area. We've always visited in low light or cloud, we keep promising to return with tripods, cameras etc. We will do next time. I hope a weekend in future weeks allows us to appreciate it fully and explore more, as well as take pictures. I took a couple of leaf/water close ups, but they were rather lacking in light too - and I am not sure the lens I had with me will do them justice. Still, experimentation can be fun. But I can't wait till I sort my digital camera out. On-going saga...And get to my new flat with a decent connection to upload photos again.
I have posted images of the national park, there are various waterfalls there, all impressive and in similar landscape.
And thanks (will need it), it has dawned on me I need to start applications like, now, ish. eek. Though essentially I can apply to most places up to the summer. So in theory, no need to panic!
