A word of advice:
If you sign your kid up to take private music lessons at a music store, make sure you take him to the damn lesson! If you're just going to not show up, DON'T DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
I moved another student up into the no show's time slot. I'm tempted to not call them at all, and then if they happen to show up next week and say, "why did you not give us the courtesy of a phone call?" I will say, "Why did you not give ME the courtesy of a phone call?! JERKS!" That's all a dream in my head of course. I will simply call and say, "I moved another student into your time slot. If you still wish to take lessons..." Well, maybe I don't even want to offer another time. Roar.
