Does anyone else get that weird Classic Arts Showcase programming on PBS. It starts after midnight and is basically bits of opera, ballet, symphony pieces, music videos, etc.
Some of them are beyond bizzare. I just watched a music video to a classical piece by Prokofiev. There were a bunch of men dressed in wigs and powder, 18th century stuff, and their coats were like sports jerseys with sequined numbers and "player" names (i.e. Mozart). Strangest part of all was that they were ice skating.
I wish this was online. (here's my favorite Prokofiev
piece instead)
