I love my tattoo. I really do. I firmly believe that every last electric impulse of pain is worth it for the shear awesomeness (and beauty) of having this piece of my artwork permenantly a part of my body ( Read more... )

I want it noted here that I offered, the night before you left, to get you gauze pads and surgical tape, so you could keep the thing covered. And you turned me down.

because, despite how happy it would have made you it would have been exactly like wearing a shirt, except then I would have had the added fun of trying to find a way to peel it off, whih would have hurt like crazy.

I didn't think you were dead. Despite rumours to the contrary, dead people don't post to LiveJournal.
Although, I would note here that some parents would expect a more frequent check-in while their child was away from home - and by check-in, I mean, like, emails, or phone calls, rather than public LiveJournal postings.

ah, i see, you just think it's odd that I'm completely comfortable away from home, with somebody you don't trust as much as you'd like to.
This is me, away from your protective wing, and enjoying it immensely. It's something you may, one day, get used to.
