Kanata Hongo in GANTZ
And so it is official. Kanata Hongo will be part of the cast in GANTZ.
The popular manga and anime GANTZ will be hitting the big screen this 2011 for its 2 part movie. Although it is too far away, a lot of fans are already excited for this movie. Kazunari Ninomiya (Arashi member) and Kenichi Matsuyama (known for being L in Death Note) will be the main actors in the movie. And just recently, Kanata Hongo is officially announced to play Nishi (who is a important role in the story).

In one of his latest shooting for the film, there was a time when Kanata waited for so long for his scene. So while waiting for his scene to come, he and Ninomiya played together. (wow. so cute. having fun while off-cam)
Right now, i'm watching the anime GANTZ. Honestly, I want to stop watching after finishing the second episode. It's not that it's boring. It's actually nice but, but, it's too BLOODY! LOL. Way too bloody!
Anyway, I'm still watching it at this moment and i'm half way done. There is a part where Nishi is asking for help. LOL! He's kindda the bad guy with too much pride. But I love him! (maybe because Kanata is playing?) I want to see how kanata will act as Nishi. He will be cool and even cooler than before!
