“I could kill my soul mate...” whispered Takaki quietly.
“But you can't kill him when you drink his blood.” Inoo hurried to say. “He's a human, Yuya. He could be killed by everything. Expect for you bit him and turn him in our equals like you did with Yabu, Yuto and me.”
“That's different. Yabu begged me till I gave in and at Yuto's and your case you would have died if I hadn't bit you.” Takaki explained.
“So you don't plan to bite Yamada till he's on the edge of dying?”
The taller nodded only and before he could argue with his friend anymore he walked back to his apartment to help his friends.

“Hey, I'm not finished with talking yet. Yuya!” told Inoo at his friend when he opened the door to let them both inside.
With this Inoo took the attention from the three guys who were sitting on the couch while chatting.
“But I am!” said Takaki in a dangerous voice.
“Calm down you two. What happened?” asked Daiki.
“Takaki is Bakaki again.” his soul mate complained.
He glanced at his friend but said boy didn't look back.

In this moment the doorbell rang and the owner of the apartment went to open the door.
“Happy Birthday, Hikaru!” welcomed Takaki his two friends acting friendly.
The three of them walked in the living room which was decorated and Hikaru got 'Happy Birthday' congratulations from everyone.
“Here is Takaki and my present for you. I hope you like it...” Ryosuke said while holding the present.
The birthday child smiled and unwrapped the present.
“Wow... that CD is really difficult to find. Thank you, you two!” he exclaimed and hugged them both.
Both smiled at him and blushed when they noticed how close they were even though Hikaru is hugging them.
“Let them breath.” scolded Yabu lightly.
After he released them from his hug Inoo and Daiki gave them their present.
“We thought you two want to have some time for only you.”
The vampire and his soul mate blushed and all laughed except for Takaki. He couldn't really relax after this incident happened earlier and Yabu noticed it. Not only because of his power but also because he has the father role in his peer group.
“Hey, is everything alright with you?” he asked his friend in his thoughts.
“Yeah... everything's fine...” tried the smaller to convince not only Yabu but himself too.
“I needn't really to use my power to see you're not alright. What happened? Or should I ask Inoo-kachan?”
The other didn't answer so he decided he'll ask Inoo. However before he could go to the 'mother' of his friends a question made him come back to reality when Yamada asked his boyfriend:
“Nee, what did Yabu give you as a present?”
“Uhm... nothing? He didn't give me anything...” answered Hikaru a bit disappointed.
Now all eyes were at Yabu who was really uncomfortable with this.
“I-I ha-have some... thing for you...though...” stuttered the taller.
“Really?” his eyes lit up immediately.
“Y-yeah...”
“Where? Can I have it now? I really thought you didn't have anything for me, you know.”
“N-not no-now... i-it's pri-private...”
The vampires asked in his mind all at once: “You don't plan what we think you do, right?”
“I'll bite him tonight... as a preset. But only if he wants...” answered questioned guy.
Daiki wanted to know after all vampires made big eyes and tugged annoyingly at Inoo's arm. His boyfriend whispered what he wanted to know in his ear and blushed instantly.
“That's unfair! Why does everyone know what you're going to give me and I don't?”
“If this makes it less unfair to you I don't know what he give you, too... so we're in the same boat.” Ryosuke explained.
“But you're not a- ah... never mind!” interrupted Hikaru himself.
Yamada looked questioning at his friend. He wondered what Hikaru wanted to say. However he let it drop because he knew he couldn't get an answer from one of them.
“You'll know it tonight, right Yabu?” teased Daiki and changed the topic

Takaki was ready to kill his friend if he wouldn't be careful with his words around his soul mate. Yabu noticed it and signaled Inoo to follow him in the kitchen so they could talk without everyone around and disturbing them. Only Daiki noted that his lover walked with Yabu in the kitchen but overlooked it. Soon he was in a conversation with the others except for Yuya who was unusual quiet.

In the kitchen Yabu talked with Inoo about their master and friend.
“Do you know why Yuya is so down?”
“Yeah... it's my fault... more or less...”
“What happened?”
“Um... Yama-chan hurt himself with a broken piece of glass and bled. Not much though but it made Yuya crazy of thirst and Yuto had trouble to bring him outside so he wouldn't bit Yama-chan. Daiki and I met them there on a bench and Yuya was really down. He didn't know why he had such a surge out of the blue for his soul mates blood so it made him scared that first he would become a monster right in front of Yama-chans eyes and second that he could kill him. I told him that if he only drank a bit of Yama-chans blood his thirst would go away instantly. But then he asked me if he could kill Yama-chan. I didn't say anything at first but he was persistent and asked me again so I told him that Yama-chan will be a human till he would bite him and turn him in our equals. But he doesn't want to.” explained the smaller the situation.
“So in short Yuya is now scared that he'll lose Yama-chan but is too afraid to turn him?” summed Yabu up.
Inoo nodded.
“That's typical Bakaki. To much worry about his friends which makes us worried about him.” sighed the younger.
“Yeah... but friends are there for something like this right?” smiled the black haired guy.
Yabu nodded. They discussed what they are going to do with Takaki from now on. However they didn't got anywhere so they let it be and went back to their boyfriends side.

In the time they were away their friends ate the cake already but left two pieces for them.
“Wow... this cake is delicious! Where did you buy it?” asked Yabu after he ate one bite.
“At a bakery. Where else?” answered Daiki sarcastic.
The older rolled his eyes but laughed with his friends.

After the cake was gone Yamada had a suggestion for a game.
“We could play 'Truth or Dare'?”
Both humans were immediately excited and looked at their boyfriends with pleading eyes because they didn't want to play this game.
“Ahh... okay. We play it with you.” sighed Inoo in defeat and Yabu nodded in agreement.
Yuto wanted to play too so the only one left was Takaki who didn't seem really eager to play this game.
“Yuya~ please~!” begged Daiki and Hikaru.
“These puppy eyes don't work on me. I'm not gonna play this stupid game.” stated the vampire.
“I already know how mean all of you can be and what questions you will ask. So no thank you.”
Hikaru seemed to have an idea than he walked over to where Ryosuke was standing and whispered something in his ear whereupon the smaller blushed. After the older was done with speaking he had an huge grin on his face and this didn't make Takaki feeling good.
“Ehh~ Yada!” said Yamada.
“But if you don't do this Yuya isn't going to play with us! Besides it's my birthday so I can wish for everything I want.” ordered the taller human.
Yamada looked at said person as if to ask to give in and play with them but Takaki was too stubborn.
“Don't make Yamada something do what he doesn't like.” stated the vampire.
“Then play 'Truth or Dare' with us!” commented Hikaru.
“Not in one million years Hikaru!”
His soul mate sighted and walked in his direction still blushing but sat on his lap which gave the older a shock. He really wanted to play with Yuya for a few reasons. First he could ask Inoo and Yabu what they meant with what his friend found. Second he could ask Takaki why he's so quiet since he came back with Inoo and last but not least he could find out more about Takaki's past and his feelings for him.
“Yuyan~ please~ play with us~” asked Yamada shyly.
Thankfully he had his head down so he couldn't see how hard the taller was blushing now.

In the meanwhile his friends found it hard to not laugh at Yuya's face. It was really funny how they looked. Ryosuke on his soul mates lap head down and a blushing Takaki who was too shocked to do something.
“O-okay...” gave the older in.
Ryosuke fled almost to go to take a bottle from the kitchen. All of them laughed now till tears rolled down their cheeks.
“Y-you... hahaha... should have... seen... hahahaha... y-your face... hahahahahahahahaha...” laughed Hikaru while holding his stomach.
The other snorted only and sat down on the floor like his friends did after they could breath normally again. Ryosuke came back from the kitchen and placed the bottle in the middle of the circle before he sat down between Yuto and Daiki.
“Who should start?” asked Yuto and Inoo answered:
“I think the birthday child should start.”
Everyone agreed so Hikaru spun the bottle. It stopped at Takaki who groaned. The younger only smiled and asked the dreadful question:
“Truth or dare, Yuya?”
