Who: Luna/?
What: Her birthday!
Where: The Ravenclaw common room
Luna gasped loudly when she came downstairs to get a little early studying done before class. Her eyes went wide and a small smile appeared on her face when she saw the beautiful two tier cake with blue triangles scattered around it on a table in the common room. In big gold letters her name was spelled out and she knew that her father had managed to convince the house elves to make it for her, since his cakes were typically much sloppier.
She skipped over to the table and grinned as she circled the large cake, gazing at it in pure joy. Her eye stopped on a bright yellow envelope with her name scribbled across the front in her father's writing. She picked it up and opened it carefully, her heart beating happily as she read her father's words.
"Happy birthday my darling, I can't believe you're already 14. I will be in Hogsemade the next time the school takes a visit. Join me for lunch and a special present. I love you, Luna. Tell all of your little friends to enjoy the cake.
-Love, your father.
p.s. Don't forget to check your windows for birthday hungleboons."
Luna nearly squealed with joy at the news that her father was coming to visit her. She would have to make a note of the next visit and make sure that she would be free to go.
