Tedious and long job applications
I am applying to a company which uses Taleo. And as I've already become very familiar with, it's a HUGE hassle, and a waste of time. Google tells me that I'm not the only one who thinks Taleo sucks. I'm frustrated and laughing at once. What is the point in attaching files if you end up having to fill out/correct everything by hand anyway?! Some companies using Taleo require you to fill out more stuff than others. And for this particular company I'm applying to atm, the Company Questionnaire section alone is 7 PAGES LONG. That's right. 7. Pages. Long. Add all the other sections, and you get something eeeeven longer.
It's the web equivalent of hauling a huge, heavy weight across the ground for a good duration of time. Ugh...ow.
