It is COOOLLLLD! And an update.
Where I am, we're experiencing really cold temperatures, and a TON of snow. Much of the US, in fact. I went out today to get the mail and throw some things out and I had to fight against the snow and wind blowing in my way. As far as I remember, we got way more snow this year than last year.
I'm somewhere in the blue-purple area on this map.
I wouldn't mind being in Death Valley now. I really would like to visit that place. They say it's best to visit it in the winter.
In addition, my journal is long overdue for an update. I hope I can revamp this journal. It can be hard to set aside time to sit down and write something substantial, and then check it all to make sure the post is ready to be published. Plus my mind flutters from one thing to the next. I've also gotten a bit shy about posting things online. Sometimes you post something that seemed cool at the time, and then look back on it and think, "Gee, I wonder what they think of me." Time and distance really do change/add to perspective. I'm not entirely the same person I was as when I posted more regularly on LJ (here and in communities). I am very glad though, for life's learning lesson.

On a celebratory note, it was Lunar New Year today! I wore red. :D Happy Lunar New Year! Have a compilation of goats.
