"I wanted to know if you were a robot."

I've been feeling nervous about the new semester for a few weeks now. I was worried because this time last year I didn't do well at all when I went back to school. Last year was a lot worse though, things are better now. But both my dad and I were expecting some sort of nervous attack like I had last time. However, it never came. It still hasn't come yet, although I was nervous before I wento to Japanese today. I'm not sure, but I think it's because I started watching a new kdrama called Wild Romance on Saturday, the night before I left to go back to school, and it distracted me from being nervous. I know I said I wasn't going to watch any new kdramas this season, but I couldn't help it. I had to check this one out. It's a wonderful drama, already six episodes in. I basically watched four episodes before going to bed, then I spent the entire four hour trip to school thinking about it, then watched episodes five and six right when I got there. I still haven't stopped thinking about it. Since I'm caught up now, I've been looking up pictures of the actors and actresses online and rewatching certain scenes over again. While it is a great drama so far, I'm mostly obsessed with the second lead characters- Director Kim and Dong Ah, played by Kang Dong Ho and Im Joo Eun.

Meet my new OTP. Here, she is imitating a sexy laugh from a porn movie they're watching (for research purposes) while he stares at her with his perfect pokerface (which seems permanently stuck on his face). But obviously he is turned on by that sexy laugh and cute adorable face.

I'm so head-over-heels in love with them. If they don't get together at the end, I will cry. Buckets of tears everywhere.

First of all, Director Kim (the guy) is one of the best poker-faced, all-business characters played for humor that I have ever seen. The actor pulls it off flawlessly. I can never resist a good character like this. I tried to write one into my script once, during high school, but I failed at it. Which is sad because I'm rather stoic myself. But I'm not funny. Anyway, Director Kim has become one of those characters that I want to adopt just so he can live with me and work on his laptop in my kitchen while I watch him and make him feel extremely uncomfortable. Also, he is an awkward turtle, which is hilarious because he tells someone they need to see a doctor because they have a "turtle neck." Then he says, "Oh, I shouldn't have said that. It sounded bad. Sorry."

Second of all, Dong Ah is an author (I think. Or unemployed but wants to be an author or was an author) who spends most of her time in her house reading books about sex and other subjects that she finds interesting. She also reads poetry. She has a giant shelf in her house full of books and porn DVDs. Did I mention she wanted to write erotic scripts? She's weird and seems high half the time, but she isn't. I wish she was my friendly but weird neighbor. Maybe she can live next door with Director Kim and I can visit both of them whenever I want.

When these two meet, Dong Ah finds him extremely attractive, and comes up with the perfect excuse to touch him- *poke* "Excuse me. I wanted to know if you were a robot." I SHIP IT. I SHIP IT SO HARD.

Thankfully, I like the rest of the show's narrative as well. It would suck if I had to watch the whole show only for them if I didn't like the rest of it.

As I wait for new episodes, I like to come up with my own head canon/things I hope will happen with them as episodes go by ^_^

P.S. Concerning jdramas, I've also watched two episodes of Hungry! and the first episode of Renai NEET. I'm still waiting for the first episode of Lucky Seven to be subbed.
