Witty Observations?

Customers. There's nothing like 'em. They're rude, arrogant, impatient...and yet when I try not to be these things when I'm the customer, I get blank stares in respose.

Am I the only person who still believes that the customer is always right? Even when they're not?

And boy, are they not sometimes!

Some of the tiniest things get on your nerves when you work for the general public. Like...do their eyes stop working when they enter a shop?

How come a lable that is perfectly clear and says '75p when you buy a newspaper and magazine' suddenly becomes unreadable? It must do, because everytime you tell them it's £1 without the newspaper or magazine they look disappointed and say 'oh...'.

Give me strength!

Fair enough if you're old and can't see a price on a magazine. Or on a paper. But come on! All the sweets in our shop have the prices underneath their place. And yet still-still-the idiots can't see them!!!

GRRRRR!!

The ones I really hate are the ones that come over and stick money in your face. You're like 'well...knowing what you have might help!'.

I'm a medium, not a mind-reader!

And, please Goddess, spare me the proud parents!! The ones who think their little girl's an angel.

When in fact she's the antichrist!

Running around the shop, pulling sweets off the shelves and trying to stick them in her pocket, tearing the magazines and knocking old people over. And what do they say?

"Isn't she energetic?"

No...she's insane!!

I usually work once a week in that place.

The last week has reminded me why.

general public, customers
