things to do now/consider for later:
- FINISH SOMA CRUZ APP FOR seekers_rp I MEAN REALLY SELF JUST HURRY UP.
- Replay Dragon Age, put Leliana in the party, never ever ever take her out, app to trans_9 in December, find nicer icons.
- Possibly check out singularity_rpg as a home for Liara, find out if she can get all information broker-ish there. Does anyone out there know much about this game? Or the ME cast?

In other news:
TODAY WAS A PRETTY GOOD DAY
I was finally able to pick up my checks and I arranged things with the people in charge so that they'll be delivered to the dining hall from now on and then I went shopping with my mom and I bought new clothes and we found a sushi place that was actually good and I hit Barnes and Noble and found a copy of John Dies at the End and a book about art heists and oh yessssss.
I have also acquired a copy of Minecraft! I have currently climbed up a snowy mountain near the shore and taken advantage of a natural eyrie to use as a home base. I've cleared it out a little, and I built a bridge across to another part of the mountain. I'm pretty screwed if I die, since I don't know where my current home is in relation to my spawn point. I mean, it's not like I need to stick to that area, but I put a lot of effort into it.
It's single player mode is pretty lonely. You're the only person around for miles. Your only companions are animals that wander the countryside. When the sun sets, monsters spawn and try to kill you. Zombies are freakishly fast. Spiders leap for your face. Skeletons shoot at you. Creepers -- god damn Creepers -- silently approach and explode once they're in range. You have to hole up in a shelter if you want any hope of surviving the night. There is a definite sense of relief once you see dawn creeping up the horizon -- most of the monsters will burst into flames once touched by the sunlight, and the spiders drop their aggro and become passive.
Theory: Single player Minecraft is about surviving the end of the world.
Multiplayer, of course, is like dropping five tabs of acid and hallucinating green penises dancing across rainbow pyramids and impossible floating architecture while tiny little fairies build pixel art of video game characters. So, yeah.
