LIVEJOURNAL DOES STUPID THINGS, EVERYONE FLIPS THEIR SHIT Not that I blame anyone or anything; I don't like Facebook's lack of privacy, and I want my fandom life to stay as far away from my real life as humanly possible. I mean, I'm pretty out and proud as a nerd anyway, but I would not want a future employer to stumble across my Facebook page and see the kind of stuff there that I type here, you know? Besides, LJ is for bitching about people on Facebook where they can't see you.

There is also code you can add to your custom stylesheet to completely remove the options for anyone commenting on your journal. Instructions can be found
here. I hope this helps!
