MOODSWING!!!
So, I am sorry for not updating so much, or having a chance to keep track as much, I do try to read everything, even if I don't have the brains to comment.
I have been trying to deal with various pains, plus try to conquer various stress, or at least ignore the stress...Pookie hasn't been doing so good either in the moodswing/stress department, either:( Yesterday he was really down in the dumps. I had grilled some boneless chicken breasts and made some Stovetop stuffing for supper...he was late and I had already had some, but there was more than plenty for him. He hardly touched any, and then Sweetums managed to quietly steal one half of a breast(how a 25-pound cat managed to do anything quietly is beyond me...) so basically anything that I hadn't eaten went to waste...er, the cats. Oh well...
What have I been up to...well, Saturday I was kinda depressed and I kind of wasted the day. I don't even remember it much. I do know I took a muscle relaxer. Sunday I woke up relatively early, and we got dressed and grabbed some stuff at Walmart that we needed...the place was FLL of the unholy living dead, I swear. Then we headed home, and I took a shower and got decent, as we were going to be heading back out to take a quick trek of one of the area flea markets, and to meet up with a girl I met on an EGL community. I bought a JSK off of her and since we both live in MA we met up about 1/2 way so I could pick it up instead of having her mail it, plus I traded some of my jewelry for 3 pairs of sweet shoes from her. I don't have a picture of me wearing the JSK yet, but I have a picture of the item itself from the sale. You won't believe I am wearing colors!!! It does still have black accents, but the jumperskirt itself is yellow and it had black cats on it with colored boxes and presents:) I am going to be wearing it to my sister's baby shower on Saturday.:) And, not only does it fit, but I look super-adorable:)
Umm, where was I?
So I also made some new jewelry, and I finished the diaper cake for the shower, as well as some favors. I made little transparent blue pacifiers strung on blue ribbon necklaces wih a little metal charm that says "It's a Boy!" So after we picked up the jsk we headed to mom's and dropped off the shower stuff, and I HAD to try it on...I think mom was shocked to see so much color, I have been in Gothic Black since I was 12.
So, since I was expecting white diapers but Mom dropped off diapers with Winnie the Pooh all over them, I had to change my theme idea, but it all turned out good in the end. I made a Winnie the Pooh themed diaper cake, and it matched mom's goodies since everything she got is apparently blue and green. Here is the diaper cake:
And at the flea market I only bought one thing: I found a vintage brass cherub lamp. I did take a pic, but it doesn't look like pookie ever uploaded it so you will have to wait. So in the meantime, here are pix of other stuff.

So I think that is it right now...Oh! But I actually accomplished some things on Monday! I had to work, but it was actually a pretty good day(once I got my tush outta bed and woke up while driving...) When I got home I fixed some holes and gaps around the house with "Great Stuff" and then we went over to the neighbors' house to visit for a bit(they insisted we come over for a while for their bbq:) They are very sweet. I love them to pieces!) Then we went back to the house and I cleaned the bathtub, and put up the Hello Kitty valance (finally) and I also installed the new shower head (only took me a year and a half to get around to it!) and even re-caulked around the shower-door-installation, as it was loose and water was running outside of the bathtub. Eww, moldy-no-no. So, I actually got stuff done! *pats self on head* Good girl.
