Summary: "As I read the letter, I cried...." "Don't worry, my heart is yours now"
The ferris wheel then work again and we holding our had together watching the sunset. Our hand both cold not because the weather, it was my disease, gravely ill. After that day, she disappeared, my condition even worse and I get hospitalized. She did call and send me message which it was a good sign. I keep the secret from her. She was at the village when I ask her. I sighed. I will die, what kind of boyfriend I am? Leaving her. I can’t bear this guilty feeling anymore. I reveal the truth to her. Weird, she did not shocked at all. She also say that I will survived. This makes me feel so uneasy.
The surgery day come. I prayed that she will come but she did not. It make me frustrated. Did she hate me because I was ill? I’m so lucky that there is a donor who willing to donate the heart for me. It was a great news.
After the critical time surgery, I finally open my eyes. “This is my second chance of life.” I mumbled softly. My family was so glad that I recover so fast. But since I wake up, I did not see her yet. She never called and messaged me. Where is she? After a few months still I didn’t get her news. One day, I received a nice pearl red letter. There include the necklace that I gave to Haneul. It could be her? Yes! It was her! I was excited and open the letter, soon I shed tears and my heart began to pounding like crazy.
I opened my eyes, panted. I saw the letter on my desk. It was my old memory. I put my hand on my chest. I feel so guilty. I take her heart, I take her soul away from her body,I take her heart and it was inside me now. Suddenly, an image appear in front of me. A wind blowing and I saw her. She put her hand above my hand that already situated on my pounding chest.
“Take care of it okay? It was yours now. My heart is yours now.” She said that softly and then she gone with the wind. I promise Haneul, I promise to take care of it, while holding my chest I murmured that word I can feel the heart beat. It was so calm.
6 years later
Changmin now working at the famous hospital as a Heart Speacialist. He decided to be a doctor, a heart doctor to help those with heart problem to keep alive. While he was walking along the corridor he bumped with a nurse.
“I’m sorry miss…” he bowed to the nurse and keep walking. He feel something bothering him and he soon looking back to the nurse. The nurse also keep watching him.
“Sir, are you really okay?” She walked towards him. ‘Haneul’ the word suddenly out from his mouth. He smiled. It was Haneul. He still keep smiling.
“Err.. you know me? Well, I kind of familiar with you. Did we ever meet anywhere? Err.. maybe it was in my dream. Oh, sorry forget that doctor… Changmin.” The girl blushed and kee bowing. Changmin keep smiling and he hug the girl.
“Thank you for coming back.”
