(no subject)
Hey, happy holidays and seasons greetings and all that! And a Happy New Year. (Wow, 2012 is almost over already? yikes.)
I got a few more gifts this year than I did last year, which is a bit of a surprise. First of all, my brother and I got a basket full of goodies (each) from some of our aunts and uncles. It was a real surprise, let me tell ya! We got soap and shampoo and towels and all sorts of things that we've been running out of. You know you're getting old when you're excited about soap. LOL.
The biggest, nicest gift I ever got this year was from ravenbloodmist. I was over the moon to see the DVD of The Color of Magic! I love that movie!! I have Hogfather, but it was one of the last shows I recorded from the tv before everything went digital... so, yes, I'd like to get that on DVD some day, too.
And not only did she get me that, but the first Sherlock Holmes book! At first I wasn't sure what to think, because I've only watched one episode of the BBC show Sherlock... but the book itself, which was the actual book written by the actual author! XD I read it all already because I couldn't put it down.
So big, hearty hugs and thanks to you, Silvia!! ♥ Thank you for the wonderful presents! It certainly made my day to get those!
In sadder news, Merlin is coming to an end... I haven't watched the last two episodes yet! Just getting them now so I can watch them later this week. I'm trying to stay away from spoilers, but I'd like to know if others enjoyed it or if it was so-so, or whatever. :) My muse will probably stick in the Merlin fandom a while, since I have about three fics in the works for it, and I'm slowly getting back into the Harry Potter fandom as well. We shall see how things go. :)
So, that's all I can think of. Everyone stay safe during the holidays. Don't drink and drive, but smoke and fly.... or read and wank.... or whatever. As long as it's safe! XD Happy Holidays, all!
