Oh wow... I remember
this post! How could I even think that the Arthur/Merlin wasn't that obvious! *facepalm* Seriously, it is so freaking obvious you could pin a tail on it and call it a... something pretty damn obvious. XD
I was trying to find the old entries where I talk about the olympics (the last one I watched, when it was in China), so that's how I suddenly stumbled upon that entry. (I'm trying to find them so that I can tag them... because I can't believe that I didn't have a tag for the olympics at the time!)
I really hope I can get online some time this summer, in order to post about my thoughts on the going ons during the Olympics. :)
Also lately every Saturday evening me and my brother have been watching Svengoolie... don't know if any of you know what it is. He's a horror movie host that shows old horror movies. Now those films I don't mind watching, because they're not really that scary to me. They're actually fun to watch. I saw the very first Dracula movie, as well as most of the Frankenstein ones, and I saw Dracula's Daughter (which I honestly thought was pretty good) and I saw the Invisible Woman (I think that's its title). Let's see, what else?
Oh! Last weekend we watched Creature from the Black Lagoon. We'll be seeing one of its sequels this weekend.
And another interesting movie was shown... it was called Ssssss.... (how many S's are there in the title? XD) And the funny thing about that was, my brother was just coming into my room to remind me that Svengoolie was about to be on. He said something like "He's going to show a movie about people turning into snakes..."
Then I remembered that Merlin fic (one of my favorites) where the movie had been mentioned, because Merlin was written as one of those hipsters or something, and he worked in an old bookstore, etc (I'm sure some of you know which fic I'm talking about)... so remembering that fic, I answered my brother with : "It's called Ssssss, isn't it?" And he was floored! LOL. he's like "Yes, how'd you know?" So I explained to him how I did. XD
So, anyone have any favorite old horror movies? (LIke really old, not the ones from the 80s)
