(no subject)
So. Kitty sitting. I almost forgot what it was like to get a new cat in the house. Her name is Tree (don't ask me why), and she is partially white and the other part brown tabby (with small tufts coming to a point of her ears). She's still quite young but she knows how to use the litter box. This morning I finally found her food dish empty, so it seems like she's finally settling in. she didn't want me or my brother touching her for the longest time. Although she adored the cat toy we had. There were a few times when she would crawl onto my lap, but if I tried to pet her she would run away. Whenever the front door opens she runs to one of her hiding places (and one of them is under my cluttered bed) and won't come out for hours. Yesterday she even laid across my legs when i was on my bed playing my DS. XD she's slowly but surely getting used to us. This morning before I went to catch the bus, Tree was all meowy and rubbing up against my legs and actually enjoying the petting I was giving her! That's when I noticed that her food dish was empty. XD I filled it for her, and she kind of went back to the way she normally is, but still a bit more friendlier. I really hope that she gets to know us well enough to be in a cuddling mood.
On the fic front: I actually completed another chapter to my Doppelganger fic, and I'm quite proud of it. I'm nearly done with the last part to my Heaven on Wheels fic, but my muse was more in the mood to write on my new story. Which is a good thing because it is coming along very nicely. This time I'm not going to post any parts until I am done typing it up. It's up to six parts now, and it's looking like maybe chapter seven would become the last chapter (or an epilogue).
It is so freakin' hot and muggy outside! It's a good thing my eldest sister gave me and Mark one of their air conditioners. It's good thing for Tree too.
