(no subject)
Feel like utter crap, so I cancelled my ride in tomorrow. Which is fine because it's only my journalism class, for which I hadn't got much done for yet.... which i need to do. Plus, I must study for my math test that is on Wednesday. Blah. But it must be done, because I need a 'C' or better this time around.
I did some writing yesterday, but haven't been feeling up to par then either. Not sure if this is just a cold or what. I'm hoping it's just a little bug that will go away.
Discovered that my library actually has 1776 the musical! So I can borrow it and watch it whenever I like. :) Also, as I was returning the original VHS tape to the awesome, cool teacher I got to say hi to my awesome psychology teacher. She's had cancer twice already, but she's doing fine now. Her and my awesome Humanities teacher were giving me a big head while I was there.
Ms Awesome Teacher (to Mr Awesome Teacher): You have Lorri in your class?
Mr Awesome Teacher: Yeah, she's been in a few of my humanities classes already.
Ms Awesome Teacher: She is just aces, isn't she?
Mr Awesome Teacher: Yes.....
I can't remember what else was said, but I know that I was turning beet red as they were saying how lovely I am. XD That did make my day, because they are my favorite teachers. I'm not a teacher's pet, no, but I've had one on one talks with them both when I've had troubles in my life. And Ms Awesome was telling me that there are more people interested joining the GSA this semeseter, so that is brilliant. I'm hoping we're still able to do the MNOUT in November!
Oh, and more good news: finally have more propane! So that is all taken care of. Hopefully we won't have to worry about it again until next year.
(A la Uncle on Jackie Chan Adventures:) One more thing. I FINALLY had a Life on Mars dream last night! I don't remember any specifics, but I do remember walking around the offices and seeing Sam, Gene, Annie, Chris, and Ray there doing work or something. I don't think there was any talking... can't remember. XD
ETA: OMG, I finally checked my school email and I saw this email from my Awesome, cool teacher:
Thanks, Lorri. I thought you did a good work and appreciated how you stuck with it -- shows me you
could handle a Boundary Waters trip.

OMFG. I'm still floored that I actually got a C in Philosophy!! And a "B" in Humanities?? *dies*
