sooooo...I'm thinking about ways to fund-raise to buy THE BEST DRESS EVER that I posted in my last entry. I was thinking about crocheting little amigurumi video game characters, (like Link and Cloud and Sora and MOOGLES, omg) game enemies (mainly from LoZ, like Octoroks) and just general cuteness and putting them on keychains. I could probably sell them for $15-$20, because they would be pretty detailed...but I don't know if anyone would buy them. I could also make smaller versions that would be cheaper, but less detailed. (Definitely want to do small moogle keychains.) I was also thinking about using up my fabric stash and trying to make skirts from leftovers, then selling for $30-$40. Then that would be mainly profit, which would be awesome. But, again, don't know if anybody would buy them.
THEN AGAIN, IT IS MY BIRTHDAY SOON, SO MAYBE I COULD RAISE JUST A BIT OF MONEY, MY MOM COULD PAY FOR THE REST, AND I COULD JUST GET THE SKIRT INSTEAD OF THE JSK. I'm also currently hoping that even though this print is just as beautiful as Vampire Requiem, it won't be nearly as popular and so the resale prices won't be outrageous.
In other news, I got my Governor's School for the Arts conformation email, and my audition date is March 13th. That's scary. I have to get a decent portfolio ready by them, and I've currently only got one of the nine pieces that I need.
