first, sarah and i went on an expedition to santa cruz. the weekend was essentially: the whiskey challenge, freaks and geeks, lots of food, freaks and geeks, the boardwalk, freaks and geeks, chris spliffs, and freaks and geeks (we watched the entire series over the course of the weekend!)
here's what it looked like.

christine won, jon came in second, sarah got third, and kelly JUST BARELY (we're talking half a sip here, guys) got fourth. i, clearly, was the loser.

it was quite a night.
the next night, we went to the boardwalk!

so that was that weekend. the next weekend brendan came. and it was more handsome and goodly than words can describe.
