magical hat
All right, now that I've made that difficult first-post-after-a-hiatus, I'm going to once again (and just like everybody else) resolve to be more diligent about regular posting. To that end, a brief post about events of the past day:
I took another trip to the airport yesterday (that makes 6 trips in 16 days), and I am now in temporary possession of a laurenhat. This magical item has many wonderful properties. Among these is its ability to act as a sort of magnet for several good things, including sushi, Thai food, and conversations about writing. I've already put it to good use.
Today I completed chapter 20 of The Overworld. This chapter took just over a week to write. If I really am two-thirds of the way through, and so there are around 10 chapters left, and if they each take a week... carry the 1... I just absolutely have to finish before November. That's all I'm saying. I hope that it will be a good deal sooner, but I really want to get to the end of my current novel before this year's NaNoWriMo.
