FREAKY!!!
So last night, Bert and I decided to go to bed around midnight. We usually lock this door to our bedroom every night, but last night we decided not to because it makes so much noise when it is really muggy outside. Around 1am our dog (5lb. caged yorkie-chihuaha) starts barking out of control. I went out into the living room and didn't see anything. I looked outside and there were two semi-suspicious looking guys circling the street near our apartment, one was on a bike and one was walking.
I thought that the dog was barking because of them. Then I'm about to go back in the bedroom, and i see someone trying to come in my kitchen window, i yelled "Im calling the police" as I grabbed my phone and did, he didn't move until the third time, when him and the other two guys ran down fourth street. Now if you know me, you know how much I hate cops, and i know that they racially profile. I told them that two of the men were african americans and described them. He was like "two blacks" over his radio, ehhh.
Then all of a sudden there are five police cars and a helicopter circling our area and within 2 more minutes we are in the back of a police car going to ID two of the guys. I could only ID one of the guys who was on the street, cause go figure i didnt want to run outside and memorize the face of the guy trying to come in my window, and i did not want to wrongly ID someone. So basically they were probably let go, which they should be, since we couldn't ID the person actually trying to come into our house.
Now im just afraid that he saw me or that they are going to be watching our apartment for us and kicking our asses because we called the police on them.
All in all a fucking crazy night, now we close and lock all of our windows at night and when we leave, and it is fucking hot in here!
