Veronica Mars: Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner

Really enjoyed this episode, although it wasn't quite as good as last week's, and I can't really explain why. Ah, well, a re-watch is definitely in order because I was really tired by the time I got around to watching this. (Until then, bullet points!)

- Saw the answer to the mystery of the week coming a mile away. I mean, the fact that Meg's parents would "kill her" for what was on her laptop was kind of an obvious hint that it involved her. Still didn't change the fact that the revelation with the little unsettling. Damn, I felt so horrible for that little girl! And when they opened the hidden closet door and found her locked in there, yeah, my heart kind of broke.

- I think this episode might have convinced me never to have children.

- Oh, Logan, I love you. Interrupting Veronica and Duncan's "movie time," getting Veronica in to the girl's bathroom with the infamous out of order sign used for their legendary make-out scene, and his comments to Kendall when she was trying to hit him up for money ("I'm sorry, did I hurt your feeling?"). HA! Classic.

- Of course the big question right now is about Duncan: did he or didn't he have sex with Kendall? I tend to agree that he didn't, but part of me thinks he might have (she was in there for a long time). The only reason I say this is because he seemed really interested in her when she visited Logan. Also, Duncan obviously has a different opinion than Veronica as far people go (Jackie is "cool," much?) But, I think Meg might be the real problem that will eventually/hopefully break Veronica and Duncan apart. I mean, what was with that note? How come he knew so much about Meg? Why the lame turtleneck sweater, Donut? There questions need answers!

- Um...Lamb? Sympathetic and WITH AN ACTUAL BACK STORY? Frankly, I'm stunned. They hinted that he was abused by his father as a kid, which explains a lot about his behavior. So yes, Lamb won some points with me for how he handled Meg's parents but I'll NEVER like him, just because of the humiliation he put Veronica through after she was raped. Also? With this new information I can't help but sense some Logan/Lamb OTPness. They can bond over the bastard fathers. :D

- Why can't I hate Dick? (...Get your mind out of the gutter!) I mean, he has proved time and again that he is a pure grade A jackass he is but there is something about him I can't help but like. Although, this might have to do with him hiring Kendall as their dirty French maid, hee. Also, Cassidy is too adorable for words. Poor thing misses his mother. :(

- Gia SCARES me. That is all.

LOST: The Other 48 Days

Um, okay, I really liked that episode but it was so CREEPY!

That list of the survivors taken totally put me in to shock. I just couldn't think straight after that! And then Goodwyn saying that Nathan wasn't "good" and that was why he wasn't on the list.

o_O <----Me.

So, does that mean all the survivors taken (including Walt) are "innocents?" Too much to think about.

I LOVED how the did the beginning of the episode! Damn, I didn't even THINK that the other end of the plane crashed in the water, but it makes sense! And because of that they had a much more horrible time than our survivors! I mean, no matches, no food, no Locke, no golf course, no NOTHING! Sucks for them. No wonder they're so bitter/crazy. Can't wait to see their reaction when the find out how nice everyone has been living (in comparison, anyway).

Also, I couldn't help but love the paralysm between the two groups. Just certain quotes and certain scenes were so similar to things that happened in season one. Like, for example, them finding the hatch (except theirs has a different Dharma logo!) Also, trying to get to higher ground to get a radio signal.

Speaking of which:

OMG!BOOOOOONNNNNEEEE!

The end, while getting a bit annoying (did we really have to see ALL those scenes again?), was somewhat unsettling for some reason.

Can't wait until next week. I'll be very interested to see how the new survivors interact with the ones we've watched since day one. And also because I'm a sap, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry like a baby at all the reunions (Jin/Sun, Rose/Bernard, Kate/Sawyer, Jack/Sawyer, Jack/Ana Lucia, Michael/Sun).

Is it Wednesday yet?

...Goblet of Fire tomorrow? Can't believe it's actually coming out already! OMG!MUST SEE!
