Some random, completely out-of-order thoughts about the episode ahead, so beware of spoilers. Also, another warning, most of the points will be about Nathan. But I'm sure all of you are used to my fangirling by now. ;)
- "Promise you won't post any spoilers?" Aw, R.I.P. Isaac. :( We all knew this was coming since day one, but it still sucks. At least he supposedly set things in motion that will help the other heroes out.
- I'm so pissed that we didn't find out what Mama Petrelli's ability was (assuming that she does indeed have one). Also that we didn't see more about her telling Nathan & Peter that she knew about their powers even before they did. I have a feeling a lot of stuff was cut from this episode.
- Sylar with cloudy!future!eyes = HOT! I LOVE the fact that his painting style is different than Isaac's. A very nice touch.
- "I'm sure this is where you take all your first dates." laksdjfals;dkjflas;dkjf! LMAO! Oh, Nathan.
- The Sylar vs. Peter fight was amazing. I liked the expression on Mohinder's face at that moment, like he was finally understanding the full, horrible potential of all the special people out there.
- Oh God, that scene where Nathan walks in to find Peter dead? And then he starts sobbing and hugging him? LSKJflskdjflskdjfsdjf! I admit, I got a bit misty eyed myself for a moment, even though I knew Peter would be fine once they took the glass out of his head.
- I SO did not see the Candice-as-Jessica scene coming. Damn, they got me good with that one. Now I'm going to assume from now on that anyone in any scene could be Candice in disguise. Also, I don't believe for a second that that is Candice's true form.
- As an aside, I miss Edith. :(
- "Put it underneath your pillow." LMAOOOO. Yep, it's official. Nathan got the best lines of the ep! ♥
- Nathan and Claire in the same room, FINALLY! I was grinning like a maniac the entire time. And I was happily surprised when Nathan said he only wanted her to hide for a week! alkjsdfalskjdf! HE WANTS HER AROUND! HE WANTS HER TO BE PART OF HIS FAMILY! *Squee!* Even though he's my favorite character, I sort of assumed Nathan would try to distance himself from her as much as he could. *Bad fan.* Also, was it ever mentioned to Claire that Nathan has a power too? Any mention of the fact that Merideth can create fire? How did Peter find out that Claire was his niece? Again, I think some important Petrelli scenes were cut. :(
- HRG + Matt + Ted FTW!
- Oh dear. Now that Nathan knows that Peter (and Claire, for that matter) can survive the explosion he's thinking more about what Linderman said. Sigh. They're going to make Nathan a "bad guy," aren't they? That's alright though, because at this point I think I'll love him no matter what happens. :P
- Mohinder just needs to stop blindly trusting people. Seriously. Also, the Petrellis probably should've tried to let Mohinder know that Peter wasn't dead after all. It might've helped.
- Hiro and Future!Hiro meet! alksjfaslkjdfasldkfjalsdkfj! I cannot WAIT for next week's episode. It looks like a fic come to life! :D
