So All You're Gonna Hear About Between Now And October Is...

Wedding.

In part, because that's truly the only extra curricular activity I'm doing these days. That and going to the bar to relax about planning the wedding, of course. :) The plans are going well and everything is in place for the most part. That's still more than I wanted to spend but we're getting a gorgeous tent as a rain location/reception thingy and it's the majority of the 4k I've budgeted for the wedding. Everyone knows about what they're doing and who they're doing it with. All the vendors know where and when they should show up and Chris seems to be really happy these days. Now to line it all up and pay for it and then we're ready!

Except for the small little hiccup where I don't have a dress yet. Now I've looked and tried on and looked and tried on but nothing seems to be what I'm looking for. Everyone has told me that there should be a dress that you put on and go "Wow." and that's the one. I haven't gotten that yet but it's hard to say "Wow." when you have a corset built for a two year old strapped on by a sullen David's Bridal employee! I have hope though. I ordered a few dresses from a company with a "try on" program, which is awesome, and I'm very hopeful that they'll be perfect. I refuse to spend too much money on anything, dress included.

My family is cooking the food which will be DANK and my dad and the family band will be playing part of the evening I hope. We're mixing the music ourselves and using our iMac to do so no paying for a DJ. My grandmother is decoration the "altar" for us with plants she's potting this summer and my brother is helping to build the arbor that we'll get married under, and then later take with us to put in our own garden!

Which reminds me, we're looking at houses! There's one we're going to see on Sunday that I'm pretty excited about that has lots of room and an adorable house and three sheds and a handicapped ramp on front! Okay, so 3 out of 4 ain't bad and the handicapped ramp we would take apart and use to build a chicken coop but that's a different story. After years of moving from place to place and never being able to do anything to the space I live in, I can't imagine how cool it would be to have a place I could do anything I wanted to with! Paint is cheap and my free time is too so owning my own home would be... sigh. Plus, gotta have room to raise the kiddies, right? ;)

Hoping your day is Awesome too,

Anna Nanna
