Loving a cool, rainy day
This week I am preoccupied with finishing my resume' and finding the companies I want to work for. Not surprisingly, a lot of "green" biotech companies have popped up around Asheville and I like a lot of them but I have concerns. There are so many companies in NC many that grow botanicals for scents and for homeopathic remedies and I think that's what I'd like to do. I love to grow things, even though my house won't allow it due to poor planning and lack of sunlight, so working in the mountains, growing things would be awesome.
Chris says he doesn't care where we live but he's got a good thing going here. True, he's stressed out and overworked but he makes more than some NC teachers and that's nothing to sneer at. If we move, however, he loses that but I get to work at a job that I really like... well, maybe anyway. The other option is to stay here and take what I can get and he keeps his good job and we're both relatively stressed out but making progress. I've got a promising job offer already with a comparable salary but it's working for a medical supply company here in Greenville. Does that sound like me? :(
