Okay, its an '02 so just new to me, but I can't be more thrilled. I have already started calling her Luna, and Cole has decided to call her Luna-Dozen-Donuts. Not sure why, but I like that too. Oh, and its first song was "My Baby Loves A Bunch of Authors," just so the car understood what her new owner was like :)
Yes, my station wagon finally went kaput. The starter was fried AGAIN, while still on warranty, so that it got fixed but no warranty on it the 2nd time because the problem was actually the flywheel. An expensive fix. And the oil leak was way worse and was finally going to need fixing. And important things like the heat and the defroster were giving up. So it was becoming undrivable. When Collin gave me the go ahead to look, on Saturday morning, in a few hours I found the car I wanted at a great price and we purchased it by dinner time. Aries girl works fast.
So! 50 mpg, I can finally play CDs, heat and defroster and even windsheild wiper fluid (yes that was broken on the station wagon). It is just comfortable and easy to drive, and I feel better in my heart about it because of the hybrid-ness. And three cheers for Collin for letting me get the car of my dreams, and for haggling the great APR we got on the loan. Huzzah!
