Even if I did end up having to go take a break outside during Billy Talent, their second opening act, and after that couldn't move closer than the back of the crowd, because of my stupid dysfunctional heart. I don't think I'll ever forgive myself for not feeling steady enough to fight my way closer - the barricade

and don't feel bad. i would choose pet sitting over baby/child sitting ANYDAY. i'm just not good with babies and children. i just .. no. the screaming, not doing what you tell them to do. euhck.

glad the semester is over for you.
would you like to go over the summer for me? ;]
i think a break from school would do you some good. take that time to care for yourself, rather than having to worry about school work.

I did! *bounces* They put on a helluva show.

I'm very picky about small children. For instance, my cousins' babies, who are about three and one, respectively - I adore them. They're exhausting, and my limit on taking care of them by myself would probably be about two days before I went nuts, but still. I like being around them.
But then I have another cousin who has a six year old girl, and I can't stand that kid. She's spoiled to the point of being evil. They wouldn't have enough to pay me to babysit her if they won the damn lottery.

Gaaaaah, I'm so glad that semester is over. It's such a relief, knowing there aren't any papers or translations or whatever I should be doing. Of course, now I need to find a job. *sighs* One hurdle at a time, I guess.

I went with jewelry and a couple of cute sort-of gag gifts. I think I ended up doing okay. :)

i don't know why i've always been iffy about little kids. i feel weird when i'm at family get togethers and people ask me to hold their baby or ask me why i don't never have much to do with the kids. i know i've probably complained to you about my cousin whose daughter has a 1 and a half year old. everytime i go to my aunts house, my cousin is usually there with that baby and she's shoving him in my face. they're always wanting me to go over and sit with them and help them babysit it and all. Lisa one time told me "you need to come over more and let me show you how to change a dirty diaper and all. get you some practice."
practice? i ain't planning on no kid no time soon so i don't know why the heck she's telling me that. stupid. i hate dislike her. :S

I hate that people just automatically assume you're going to pop out a couple babies one day. I may not always be crazy about kids, but I firmly believe they deserve parents who want them whole-heartedly, you know? Not parents who had them because they were the last accessory missing from their "grown-up" life. :\

And DUDE. I totally had myself convinced I'd sent you those pictures. *blushes* Sorry.

no, it's fine!
i just got to looking at the ones i took and i just don't really like the one i got of us together. i was focused on the screen of my camera trying to make sure it wouldn't take blurry, so my eyes are looking at the screen, whereas yours are looking at the lens [where mine should have been]!

and i think you're hair looked fine! both of ours were just wind blown! ;]
i like the ones i got of you. just that one of us together.. me = ugh. my lips were in need of some serious chap stick [i've complained to you how they stay chapped what seems like 24/7], and i was just too concerned with that freaking screen. you look really pretty though! :]
