12:15
I went to bed at 21:30, got to sleep at 22:30, and woke up hungry at 05:00. I went downstairs at 0:600 to get a little bit to eat, and I think I fell back asleep by 07:00. I woke up again at 11:15 or so, feeling pretty good.

I had a shower but didn't get dressed -- I'm feeling good enough to deal with my hair today, so I'll get dressed afterward. I came down and I'm having a banana and some cereal while I catch up on social media, then I'll go back up and bleach my hair.

My pain level is much improved, not intruding on my awareness generally. My feet are better than usual, only the left one feels stuck at all. My lower back is a hot mess, though; it's so stiff I had trouble reaching everything in the shower. I'll have to stretch it out while I'm waiting for the dye to set, and maybe there will be a break in the rain so I can go out walking. I wish I could go bicycling, as that loosens up my back without killing my feet, but biking in wet weather is just miserable. Besides, to help my back I'd need the upright bike, and I don't use that on wet pavement since I dislocated my knee in 2009.

My vision is clear, so is my thinking, and I have a great deal of energy. It doesn't feel like restless energy, either, so I should probably go out and be somewhat active -- I think getting the inflammation down has helped a lot, as it often does, and if I get moving I should be able to keep it down for a while.

20:00
I got to downtown Martinez at about 16:30, parked, and started wandering around. I was playing, and it was raining, so I went pretty slowly. I ended up walking for about 45 minutes before I came back to the car, drove around for 20 minutes or so, got out and walked for another 15 minutes, drove a couple minutes, walked around for a half-hour, and so on. I got somewhere between an hour and a half and an hour and 45 minutes of walking in, broken into pieces... by 19:00 my feet were sore, and I finished up and went home. Very little of the walking was above a moderate pace, and a lot of it was slow.

Now for dinner and some rest.

23:19
I had a good-sized dinner, and spent some time on the computer, chatting with teammates and handling odds and ends. A few minutes ago I was asked to drive to Bethel Island, so I'll head out there; my mind is still feeling pretty clear, though my energy level isn't up for much walking. I think I've had as much exercise as I can handle today.

03:23
Drove to Bethel Island, and Brannan Island, and Byron. It took me about three hours to do the set, and almost all of it was in the car. My mind was still clear when I got home, but my vision wasn't as good during the trip as I would have liked; I was having trouble making out the speed limit signs at a distance, and street signs were quite difficult. I managed to dodge both rockslides and various animals, however, so I was doing well enough.

I just had a little bit to eat, and I'm headed for bed.
