There was the normal hussle and bussle in one of the taverns in Dahngrest. And well, the Brave Vesperia group had decided to lend their assistance at waiting the tables once more. This meant everything dressed in the uniforms specially prepared for them. Estelle ran around in her cute little kimono, Rita with her cat ears, and Karol and Raven in their attire as well.
However Judith was not among them that day, she had chosen to just watch all of them running around. As much fun earning some gald was, she wasn't in the mood to run around in a maid's costume that day.
Especially not when someone else was taking her spot.
Flynn had decided to join their group that day, wearing the same butler outfit that he had during the White Day auction. And undoubtedly, Judith found this far too amusing. As a customer, she could be annoying and order whatever she liked. It was a fun turn-around. Raising her hand to catch the blond's attention, she called out in a sing-song voice, "Oh waiter~"
Almost as though he had expected it, the blond knight came up to her table and put on that smile that could make any fangirl's heart swoon, "How may I help you, Judith?"
A sly smile came across her features as she began her list, "3 amango tea, 12 tomato soup, 5 Set Lunch B, oh wait, scratch that last one. 11 Mandragesso, 7 ice cream, 18 tortoise stew, nevermind scratch that last one. 10 Earth Spirit Parfait, 19 grilled fish, no wait, scratch that last one." The look of pure annoyance that Flynn sent her only made Judith smile in response as she paused her order, "Is something wrong, Flynn?"
He shook his head and forced a smile, "No, nothing. May I get you anything else?"
"Yes," she said with a grin. She was just torturing him now, but it was just so amusing. "Scratch all of that," she said, which only earned a confused glance from Flynn.
"Are you interested in something else?" he asked.
"As a matter of fact, I am. I've been fickle and frustrating, I know, and I can only find one reason why. I must be distracted. I think it's because I'm curious about something," she said in a matter-of-fact tone, before standing, leaving her face only inches from his. With a confident grin, she added, "I've just been so curious as to makes you so irritable. It's as if whenever we speak, I irritate you. I just want to solve that problem."
He raised an eyebrow, unsure of what was happening here, "And... how can we solve that?"
"Well, it's simply to solve your bad mood, which would in turn get rid of my curiosity," she said without a bit of hesitance. "So here's to solving curiosity."
She began to lean in to close the space between them and--
[END DREAM]
[Judith wakes up and can only laugh. That was so ridiculous, it was funny. What ideas can Flynn derive from that, she wonders.]
Well, now that you mention it... Flynn, go run and get some ice cream, would you?
