LJ friends, fic brainstorming, update on college funding
It seems like more and more people are leaving LJ because of either real life stuff or a preference for other sites : ( Just a general shout out: I will always prefer LJ to tumblr and I hope that everyone on my f-list is doing alright and not having any major real life issues.
Somehow I'm already halfway finished with "Sometimes Love is Not Enough." Which means that I'm already brainstorming on what my next story will be. My only idea at the moment is that it'll be a Jon/Sansa modern AU, but that's basically it. If anyone has any prompts, suggestions, or tropes that they really want to see please share!!
Here are some of the things floating around in my head right now:
I will update you guys on how things are going with Services for the Blind and funding, but first I need to talk to this one woman at the office before I know anything for sure. Thankfully there is an appeal process for me to challenge the original case manager's decision--I had to call my old, retired case manager to find this out--and there is money available for people in my situation. I'm trying to be hopeful about the whole thing but I'm just not sure what's goign to happen.

- Jon having some kind of military background (will probably base this on my dad's experiences like being in the Army Rangers, going to Afghanistan, PTSD, etc.)
- Sansa having some kind inner conflict? I'm thinking about a couple different things but I always have a hard time giving Sansa major ~issues~ because I don't want to do bad things to her
- Set in southern U.S. (because that's what I know)
- Political intrigue over Ned's death?
