Hello! I realize this post is over a month old now, but I had to pop in (here via flyingcarpet) and say thanks for the recs, and for writing about this! It's been an issue for H/G and canon ships forever - I remember when flyingcarpet made her non-fluff rec list - so it's awesome to see some recs with substance. :)

I made a post on this a long time ago, linked up at the top of the NonFluffy Rec List, so there might be some recs in the comments! I'm not terribly up-to-date with more recent fic.
