Hot-Chocolate, and Coffee are different ... Wow, Really!?!

It felt considerably better. Not as better as it would have, if he would allow himself a truce, and got a little cup of hot-chocolate, but nonetheless better. Newly adding himself to the heard of people walking all over the square, he actually took sometime to look around, now that he wasn't fighting for survival in the chilled weather. They had all seemed like emotionless mechanical figures, merely walking aimlessly, but now, now that he carefully observed them, he saw it, the reason why he loved this season; the happy-go-lucky it Christmas lets be happy faces. The sight was so heartwarming that if he had paid attention sooner, he probably wouldn't have needed to buy the winter accessories.

And now he felt in the mood. In impulsive anger, and lack of thought, which was one of his major traits, he threw away all their Christmas decorations, which was effectively the main reason their house was blank. It happened two weeks ago, the following the day, in which Yuuto had told him that he intended to leave on Christmas day. His mind went absolutely berserk, and as a reaction it spontaneously collected everything christmassy that he had and throw it right in the garbage. Of course he regretted it the moment the object hit the bottom of the main trash disposer down the road, but he didn't think it a good idea to try and retrieve them.

-Here ...- calmly uttered Jin, placing a cup of coffee on the desk in their room, where Yuuto was busy browsing for what appeared like apartment on his laptop -... how is it going - he then lowly inquired in a rather dejected tone

-Well ...- confidently stated the taller nodding to himself -... I am thinking on leaving on the twenty-fifth, what do you think? ...- he inquired in all sincerity, turning to face a suddenly paralyzed looking drummer

-T-twenty-fifth? … w-why?!- exclaimed the drummer in utter stupor

-Well it's Christmas day … and I thought- hesitantly stated the older, looking as shocked as the blond, who didn't allow him to finish his sentence.

-In .. how ...I mean ..like ...- began to stutter the blond -... why can you get just how important this day is for me … -he then breathed out in hurtful resignation, placing his hot-chocolate on the desk right to the mug of coffee

-... which is why I am leaving, and allowing you to spend Christmas with your family, since you haven't in three years, and I know how much you miss that - tried to point out the elder, still confusedly staring at the younger, who was slowly shaking his head side to side

-Can't you just wait one more day? Can't you come with me to my family maybe … - he then tied to propose as calm as he could sound

-I … already … set to meet with this person, ... over there ...- carefully stated the elder

-Of course ...- breathed out the younger, in slight annoyance

-... don't be mad ...- cautiously requested the taller -I do, I really do know how important Christmas is for you … trust me on this ...- he then staring up at the other, as he tried to reach for his hand, but couldn't as he observed the other roll his eyes in apparent playfulness, flashing a smile, and turning away.

-Don't worry, I am not mad ….- he then reassured, walking towards the entrance of their room

Yea, he wasn't mad; he was furious. He just couldn't understand how the wheels turned in the other's brain. How could something that sounded obviously wrong to him, always end up sounding very right to the other? Why had he allowed it to go this far, in this anything goes attitude for so long. The thing that threw him off guard the must, was that he always looked like he truly cared, like he wanted to say something profound, but it just would not come out, which in that respect, he himself couldn't say he was doing any better in trying to say, what he have been trying for three years. Why couldn't they be like Kazuki and Byou.

-You really are my property, I wasn't joking when I said it that day ...- confidently stated Kazuki, smugly looking at Byou, during one of their practice break, as the vocalist merely regarded him with an unimpressed expression

-... Is that what all that sex meant? You were branding me? ...- calmly inquired the at the time brown-haired vocalist, mischievously grinning at the guitarist.

-Pretty much, yes ...- confidently nodded the guitarist with the widest of impish grins, in front of a resignedly head shaking Manabu, who had got used to their openness regarding their sexual lives

-... fine with me … - mumbled Byou, getting up and slowly walking towards the exit, and stopping for a second giving the guitarist an implying widening of eyes, which the other quickly caught on, as he got up to nonchalantly go to the restroom, he stated, as they both disappeared.

What exactly was their problem?! He just couldn't understand it. Maybe, just maybe, he was trying to make out much out of nothing, in the sense that in this almost three years of them living together, he thought that Yuuto might have felt the same, thus was waiting for the other to say something. Because he was the blunt one, the one that said things the way they were, and the way they felt them, which was why on the other hand, he had never had the guts to say anything.

Frustratedly sighing to himself, he barged into the first department store he found, and decided that it was time for some major spending. He was going to go over the over the top in decoration, make it extremely obnoxious. Yes, he was going to make sure that the other wouldn't forget the power of Christmas; it was war … in his childish little sad mind.
