Dear Ronald,
I hope you and yours are well and enjoying your summer holiday. I'm currently in Sweden searching for the Crumple-Horned Snorkack and having a very lovely time doing so.
I've also learned that I've been made prefect, which is quite exciting.
Would you please let Professor Dumbledore know that I've also received my parchment, but I'm afraid of misplacing it while I travel, and that I'll be much more attentive when I return home in a few weeks' time? Thank you.
Enjoy the rest of the holiday, and I will see everyone once we return to Hogwarts.
