While it's late March, the Madness is far from over...

Lousville whipped Washington's ass. The Cardinals gobblestomped a No. 1 seeded team.

Well, well, well...looks like the Wildcats has some serious competition this year. Not only do we risk going up against Illinois--which, if I'm not mistaken, is THE best college b-ball team this year--but we also have a slim chance of meeting up with our ancient rival. If the Cards DO face off with the Wildcats for the final game... XD Can we say "Cardinal Stew"?

Still, this poses a more personal problem to the better part of my hometown. Should the Wildcats actually fall to Utah for the first time in a decade or so, then the only chance for our beloved Bluegrass state to have a winning NCAA champion team falls upon Pitino's crew. I can easily see half of Lexington, at least, having apoplexy at such a possibility. On the bright side, though, my fellow students can actually focus on their homework instead of the Final Four tournament.

I wish I had that comfort. Shin, here, has become a basketball fanatic during Spring Break. He's not on any one side, but he has casted his prediction for this tournament. Strangely enough, it was he who adamantly told us that Louisville will win against Washington...as did I. I must wonder if my hunches are truly accurate. I knew that Illinois and West Virginia would advance--they're both good teams--but I must double-check to see if I was right about Arizona winning their game. However, even if Louisville DO make it to the Final Four, I don't think they will survive Illinois' onslaught--unless Coach Pitino pulls a b-ball equivilant of a "Hail Mary" play out of his ass. So, if my hunch is correct, Kentucky will fight with Illinois over the championship title.

o_O Even I can't tell if Kentucky can win this year or not.
