oye..
Just got back from dinner with Matt and Naomi. Lovely.. really.. sheesh. I got back from class around 6 pm... met up with Scott on the way back to Railway which was perfect cuz it's kinda sketchy walking down the path alone.... all dark and stuff.. they've warned us not to walk around by ourselves in the evenings and stuff. And the sun's pretty much gone by that time. So that was handy. Went straight to Matt's room to check out the dinner scene.. hehehe he's great.. he was waiting. Well, not much he could do anyways cuz all the food's in my fridge! So we chatted a while and tried calling Naomi. She wasn't in, so we chilled. Naomi eventually called Matt and we decided to go out for dinner... had no idea where we were going but that's okay... whatever... right? geez... We walk down Queen Street... but this being Auckland and all.. it's pretty much all kebab stands with some sushi thrown in there. Oh, and a few fast food joints... the fast food places here are so retro! It's weird.. they've all got like checkered floors and the red leather stools and stuff... hehehe
Anyways... so we ended up a few shops up from our falafel place... we were gonna do this noodle thing.. but they had like no veggie options.. and it looked kinda nasty to me.. whatever though. Matt didn't care and neither did I.. but Naomi's like oh well I want a sandwich, you guys do whatever... blah blah.. argh. Whatever. So we do falafel. hehehe That's what we both had for lunch... but the place on Queen Street is soo much better, and cheaper too! For lunch I had a falafel kebab for $6, it was originally supposed to be $7. Mid-city Kebabs (the one on Queen St.) is only $3.50 for a falafel burger, which is mighty yummie. So I was content.
After falafel we were gonna go to the movies, a spontaneous decision. Met up with Stephanie, a girl Matt knows who goes to Bowdoin. She told us that Tuesday night is the super cheap night, Naomi thought that tonight was the cheap night. So we went to check out times anyways. Whatever it's all good. Matt wanted to see I-Robot, but it's not out yet.. Thursday it'll be out. So we went to the Civic Theatre instead and got tickets for the Film Festival tomorrow.. we're seeing the Triplets of Bellvedue... or somethin like that. I remember reading a bit about it, it looked good. Anyways.. so that's tomorrow night. On the way back from the Civic we ran into more people.. Sebastian and Stefan... apparently Naomi knows them... I think they're German or something. Whatever. We ended up standing on this stupid corner for like 20 minutes cuz they wanted to talk... that is Naomi, Stephanie and the guys... oye.. and I had to pee!!!! Matt was standing there getting real fidgety. He really wanted to leave. Soooo eventually they decide to get going and we're off. Then, we're almost back to Railway, and Naomi's like oh.. I need to go to Foodtown. Oh man.. and I gotta pee!!! Matt really didn't want to go.. but it's kinda sketchy to let her go alone.. but whatever... I got off the hook cuz I had to pee. I didn't realize how exhausted I am.. oye. And I've got class at 9 am.. super sucky man. Maybe I'll switch out of it.. who knows.. oh yeah.. that's what I gotta do now... look at courses!
Oh! And I got to talk to Brian today!!! yay! hehehe I called as soon as I got back from Asian religion today. He had left 2 messages for me :) He was like falling asleep on the phone, but it was nice to be able to talk to him. It was over a week ago that we talked.. geez like a week and a half ago! But ya... he might come to the Cook Islands with me!!! shweeeet! hehehe He might stay here once he gets here in August which would be awesome! I dunno what he's gonna do.. cuz he'll have to get a job.. but it'll be okay somehow! Otay.. and I'm off to see the courses! heheehe more later :P
