'I thought, "well, everyone is going to know what I look like naked, and it would really make things much easier if I saved them the trouble of taking off all my clothes in their head to make sure I match." I'm sure it would be less distracting.'
'But you are a proper artist. Don't you always look like one?'
And like Grindylows out of water, I thought, was really particularly clever. :D
Anyway, I love your characterizations, and I think you've captured their relationship quite splendidly. ♥

First, I think the Dean PoV works incredibly well here because it's through him that we see Luna, that we see the Luna we all love.
Their relationship here is just brilliant; it appears so natural, completely organic to the characters and the way that (I believe) they respond to one another and the world around them.
You do a brilliant job of creating gorgeous visuals in the piece without getting bogged down by details, which is precisely the style that I love.
Also, the structure works wonderfully; the way that we weave through time just as Luna weaves through the room ... well it all fits together just perfectly.
Now, some favourite parts:

This is precisely the sort of visual I mean: so simple yet so clear.
He looks at her instead. She takes his arm and hugs it, smiling to herself. He pulls her closer to him and thinks that it doesn ( ... )

I think their relationship is summed up best with,
Dean finds it far beyond silly to call her a muse; she's not and never has been, not in that way. But he finds that the more he watches her, the more she creeps into everything he does.
So so so wonderful.
