Quickie version of life
New job is challenging, exciting, frustrating and I'm glad I took it.
Went to 3 Renaissance Faires in 3 weeks. Got to talk to some of the people that I met who work the midwest faire circuit. I missed working the faires but not dealing with the weather and the BS. Also the faires were all a bit disappointing this year. Hopefully the battling promoters pull their collective heads outta their asses and realize that this area cannot sustain 3 faires in 3 consecutive weekends, including 2 that overlapped.
Shane and I got to spend most of the holiday weekend together and hung out with his dad yesterday evening which was fun. This is the first kinda family thing we've done as usually we don't do things with each others families. Lots of reasons for it but I think we may be getting beyond at least part of it.
Otherwise things are mostly good. Really exhausted today and falling very behind with online stuff do to the new job. But hopefully once my schedule evens out I'll be able to keep up again.
