Sick and tired of being sick and tired...
I have been sicker this winter than I have in ages. Nothing serious thankfully. But it seems like every time I get over a cold or congested chest or mild flu or whatever this crap is, I get hit with a new variation of it. I've felt sick most of the last month and it SUCKS! Going through another bout with it now, which unless it suddenly clears up will keep me from going to Grandma's 93rd birthday celebration as they strongly suggest that people who are ill not come into the retirement center. Which I completely get as I wouldn't want to get the elderly ill.
And the Democrats in Nebraska are all in a tizzy because for once we count in deciding who the Dem Presidential candidate will be. And Obama was in the state this afternoon. His wife will be coming tomorrow to campaign before Saturday's caucus. The Clintons are sending Chelsea. Hrm... we get the candidate and his wife on one side and the daughter on the other. Not too surprised, Bill only stepped foot on Nebraskan soil just before the end of this presidency JUST so he could say he was in all 50 states.
Yep, we're a traditionally red state but it's amazing what a real desire for change can do. We've had Dem governors and mayors and senators and representatives. Usually when someone really screws things up, hmmmm... kinda like our current leader?
