I'll take the little things...
Today's happiness is mead... Loverly loverly mead.
Got my bottle of home brewed mead from my sword fighting instructor, Mike, today. He makes very good mead. He also laughed at me as I hugged the bottle after he handed it to me.
He also brought a couple of mass produced bottles he found for us to sample. One was Californian, and while good had an odd taste to me. The other was an Irish import. That was heavenly. So I'm off tomorrow to where he bought it to procure some for the Scottish Party Saturday. He also told me they had wine called Bitch and Evil. Must investigate... hell I'll buy them on name alone if they aren't too pricey.
I'm also thinking of going to the tryouts, casting, job application process for Medieval Times that they're holding in town. I don't know if I'd want to move. And I don't know that they'd even hire a female to do fighting, (because I sure as hell don't want to be a frickin' princess). Mike thinks I should go just for the hell of it. The info I got doesn't even tell you what they require you to bring or do. May have to see when Mike is going down and have him give me a heads up if it's earlier in the day on what they want/need to see if it'd be worth my time.
