Just a small update...I've finally made a few icons again and I'm actually quite happy with them. Only 12 this time, all to do with emma watson (hermione). I don't know why but she is just a very good person to use for icons :)

These are gorgeous! I just have to ask, is the background used on both 10 and 11, is it a stock image or a brush? I've been looking for things like this for ages!

it's a brush! I had been looking for something like that for ages as well, and I found a link at stevie_jane, she has a tutorial about it and everything :)
I would give you a link, but my internet is acting very weird at the moment, I'm not sure I can even post this comment o_0

I'm sorry to bother you again, but I can't find it. :(

I found one using stock images, but nothing about brushes. Could you direct me there? Livejournal seems to be working now. :D

okay, well stevie_jane had a link that lead to this, here you can download the brushes...they're quite big, to use them in an icon you would have to resize them :)
