I think I may need you to teach me how to crochet when you visit. I learnt once ages ago but it'd be fun to try again.

I think you will really like it!!! I'm so excited to go again!! Have you bought your plane tickets yet? We were thinking we should go to the exhibition on tuesday if that's ok with you?

*hugs* Welcome back, hope you had a good time in Berlin!

I have a reservation for Tuesday afternoon, which means I should leave around noon - no time for the exhibition. But it is a flexi ticket so I can change it...

Thanks! It was really nice. We went to lots of museums and wandered round a bit. Bill bought MANY german books, I bought a couple kids books and comics cause that's all I can manage and I still need Bill's help to read them! I should practice more now I'm not studying!

Either that or we could go monday, but then we'd be having the exhibition and the play on the same day. But whatever works best for you. :)

I'm trying to bring back my German too - reading a book Elu sent me, though I think it would be more useful if I tried a contemporary story. :)

Problem is, I can't come home with the Tuesday evening flight (it arrives around midnight, I know my mom would pester my dad into picking me up, and that just wouldn't be fair on him), so I should take the mid-day flight on Wednesday, which means bothering you for one more day (on the other hand, three days off work sounds like a great idea...)
But, if Seasons Greetings is anything to judge by, we might be quite tired on Tuesday, fangirling is such hard work! *gg*

Well I guess it depends what you're using it for! But if you're managing a proper book you're doing much better than me! I need help with kids books and comics!

That does sound late for you dad to have to pick you up. I won't be able to take Wednesday off work I'm afraid :( But it's fine for you to stay another night as long as you don't mind ammusing yourself for a couple hours on the Wednesday.

Mostly I would like something to brush up my vocabulary, and for present day use Bridget Jones would probably be more help than Elisabeth of Austria. :) Too bad we have no German channels on telly anymore, I used to watch them rather often when I was at high school.

We should ask Stef whether she is OK with doing the exhibition on Monday - if not, then I could change my plane ticket. Of course I wouldn't want you to take off more days! You are already too generous to take us in. *hugs* Please let me know if there's anything I can do in return!

Still it will be good for grammer and sentance structure and things. You can always look at German websites for modern vocabularly. We don't have German tv either :( Have you tried to see if there are German radio stations online? There's also a lot of German things on youtube.

I'll check with her. I'm sure it'll be fine.

I was loving the Chinese ones I used to listen to at work, till my boss banned us from listening to things while we worked. But they're really helpful I think.
