Yeah, always nice to see middle-aged people on TV shows. But I understand why Torchwood itself was always very young - this is not a job where you need a retirement plan. :( Nobody but immortal Jack is still alive from the original team we saw in the pilot...
yeah, and as cute as Barrowman is, he's no spring chicken!
*gg* is pure speculation.... Though I did see someone I thought could have been him on the tube the other day. It was very odd. I was thinking, is that Matt Smith? But he was avoiding my gaze (which I thought maybe if he was Matt would be probable as I had my dalek backpack) But then his jaw didn't quite look big enough...
lols we should explore his filmography, see if there's proof anythere ;) Well, could have been him... though I guess now he might be too much in the spotlights to use public transport anymore.
I hope the Christopher Isherwood gets released soon! More bathing suit scenes may help with the research! ;0
A lot of actors and actresses still take the tube I think because it's really the easiest way to get around london and cabs are so expensive! But then maybe he has his own driver...
I know, it was ages ago they started promoting it I thought it'd be within a couple weeks!
That's true. Though I think Londoners tend to be quite polite and not mob celebreties when they're around. I've seen quite a few people more famous than Matt Smith wandering around and being ignored.
Yeah, I was expecting it to have been on the Christmas schedule at least, but maybe they pushed it back for some reason. (Didn't want him being all gay so close to the new doctor who or something?)
Lols, I don't think I'd have a clue who that'd be! But I did see Jude Law calmly going through the V&A with his family and he's a pretty big Hollywood celebrity these days. I think if they show up at an event they're more likely to get mobbed.
I know! I just looked and it was back in April/May that it was first announced, the trailer was up in July and there was an advanced screening in October! So sad to have to wait.
Lols I don't know! I did see Daniel in Eqqus but don't remember a mob of teenage girls waiting by the stage door to get him on his way out.
Lols! Matt doesn't need to compensate for anything!!! *gg*

I know, but I guess the Doctor is one of (if not THE) most famous role in Britain so he might receive more attention now than he really likes.

That's a nice attitude! Is it also true of the celebrities with a younger fanbase?

Like the kids(well once kids) from the Harry Potter movies? I'm sure there's plenty of teen girls dreaming of them...
