I was going to have actual content this week, I swear. I have something kinda written in my head. Bah. I fail.
They apparently posted
thefridayfive right after I went to bed last night. It's all about being a SICKO:
1. What was the most sick that you've ever been? I won't count the chicken pox, which laid me up for 2 weeks but was quite fun after the first 3 miserable days. *waves to
laariii who has them right NOW, eww!* Besides that the worst I've had was just the flu coupled with bronchitis. I actually had to go to the doctor (eww, doctors) for that because I wasn't getting better. 1998, I think that was. I got medicine and lo and behold, the next day I was much better! Yay drugs.
2. What disease are you afraid of getting? The big C. :(
3. Are you a big baby when it comes to taking medicine/shots for your illnesses? Yes if it's icky liquid cold medicine. I gag on that stuff. I can manage pills if they're not too large. And shots? Bring 'em on.
4. Is going to the doctor really THAT bad? Not really. It's just annoying to figure out who my doctor is. My insurance changes almost every year, it seems - I think my company just keeps going for shiny "sign with us and we'll give you a break the first year!" deals. Every year.
5. Would you have the flu twice a month if you were paid $1,000 for having it? Interesting question. Could I control the duration? And have it only like, every other weekend? I wouldn't want to miss too much work because of it. Could I tell my work that yes, I indeed will be getting the flu twice a month, and plan for it? I wonder if they'd consider that a conflict of interest. As for the flu itself, is it stomach flu? I don't know if that would be worth it. I don't normally suffer from that *knock on wood* and am a big wuss when it comes to stomach pain and puking. So in conclusion... I don't know!
