More than one person on my f-list has moved to Greatest Journal now. I hope they come back to Livejournal because I'm not going anywhere, and I could make a GJ account just to keep up with them but you know how that goes. Er - at least, for me, I look at it a few times but then forget to check it for long stretches.
In non-LJ news... I went to J's high school graduation last night. And yes, it made me feel very old. It's been 15 years since I graduated! We were in the Coyotes hockey arena (which, of course, is never used this time of year,
senatorsfan :P) - how cool is that? I graduated on my school's football field, with horrible acoustics and wind and everything. They had the scoreboard (the one that hangs down in the middle) showing all the kids' names and senior portraits beforehand. I got to see some of J's friends, and his kinda-sorta-girlfriend. Awwwww. And he leaves for the Navy in 2 weeks! His recruiter was actually there with us at the ceremony - I thought that was pretty cool.
And tonight looks to be fun - Aaron's other sister (the one who was pregnant... yeah, she had the baby 2 months ago ^_^) and her hubby are in town just for today, driving to Las Vegas but coming through Phoenix (they live in San Antonio). Aaron came down just for this one day, to do madhawtmoneycollectin' here before heading to Denver for the weekend - so we're all going out to dinner tonight. I get to meet the munchkin! From the pictures I've seen she looks very much like their mom (who, for those of you new to my f-list, passed away last December). Oh, and they're also bringing their pug. Pug is going to run around in my backyard while we go to dinner. I said she could probably stay in the house, as the cats survived
azurien's dog twice before... but no, apparently this dog is not at all cat-friendly.
Last night I dreamt that I was on American Idol, but I sucked so bad, I "voted myself off." Which of course makes no sense.
Boooo, I actually have to WORK today instead of dicking around on LJ all day. Ah, well, that's why they pay me the big bucks.
