"I'm sure Qui-Gon doesn't want to put your son in danger."

Aaron's mom is still hanging on, sadly. The hospice people gave her family this pamphlet that talks about the steps of death and Aaron says it's all happening... just very slowly. She's all morphined up so hopefully she can't feel a thing. Aaron's still making his stupid jokes and she scrunches up her face like she understands and is groaning at the stupidity. Hehe. ((ETA: Aaron just called me again... she finally gave up. He believes it was indeed peaceful at the end.))

I'm picking up J after school today because T is sick. Sooooo I may only be around sporadically tonight after all - haven't seen the kid for a while.

Christmas shopping is DONE DONE DONE... I think. I may need to get a little more to "even things out" among my family members or I may just end up selling a gift or two to my brother, who probably will not even start shopping until December 24.

I spent the night alone in my house for the first time since September, and though I wouldn't say I was lonely it did feel a bit strange.

death sucks
