I wish I could get a video of my cat. She has this pathetic whiny sort of meow that sounds more like a chirp at times. She's so scrawny lol.
I feel bad that she has some sort of skin condition and I don't have money to take her to the vet (we almost had the electricity turned off a few weeks ago =/. I'm just hoping Jeremiah's new job pays well and quickly, so we can get our bills paid off before they get turned off). The rashes don't seem to bother her, and I got her a flea collar and I'm trying new food to see if that helps. Is it bad if I figure providing food and shelter to a stray cat is alright until I can do more? If she seems to have any major medical issues I think I could borrow money or whatever to get it covered. Although I think I might add a request for a general vet check up and spaying for her to my christmast list.
Like the next day, Jeremiah and I managed to work things out like. He realized he did some major over-reacting and apologized a bunch, and admitted that it really wasn't as big of a deal as he made it out to be. So no worries there anymore. We're wondering if his diagnoses last year of him being bi-polar have any weight to them. He doesn't have any sort of manic-phase, and his depression phase usually only lasts between a few hours to two days. But it does seem like there is something chemically off when he's in that depressed state. And it's different than his diabetic states.
I applied for a job at Joann's Fabric. That'd be cool if I worked there. I also made some money selling plasma. I got a giant bruise to show for it cause the first arm they tried ended up clotting and shit.
Halloween went okay for the most part. Connor went as batman, and was really adorable. I've got some photos I'll post later. He got a big bag of candy, and was scared at one haunted house but over all seemed to have a really good time.
I really want to move. I don't like living here. There's way too many drugs and drinking and shit going on around here, I could make a living just selling my pee to the neighbors. Especially with the poker party that goes up every friday night upstairs. Anyone is welcomed, you don't even have to know anyone there. And a bunch of drug deals go down.
Two of Jeremiah's friends came over to hang out for halloween, and went up to the party, and apparently did some drugs up there. I set up our pull out couch so they'd have a place to crash, and not worry about driving all the way home. The girlfriend fell asleep, but the dude stayed up still, getting agitated and paranoid. Finally when it was late and he wouldn't stay quiet, we told him to go lay down with his girl. That pissed him off and he decided he would leave. Was even going to live his girl asleep on the couch, when he realized he couldn't find something, and he woke her up to help her look.
They were both all pissed off and acting like it was our fault they couldn't find their stuff (a bag of weed I think? But Jeremiah and I were both like 'dude you smoked it out on the porch, check out there'). I told them they should try looking later when they were sober, and that just pissed them off more. wtf. I think they took it as a 'you're too high to look' instead of 'I'm tired of dealing with you high like this, please go away'. They did finally go home. But then the dude called us up the next morning to cuss us out, still high, and still thinking it was our fault.
Chick came over to look for the missing drugs some more, and still didn't turn up. Evidence that it was left on the porch turned up. But this wasn't good enough for Dude, since he came back after that, pissed off, threatening us, and threw a crow bar at the door. It left two holes there, and bounced off onto my car windshield, shattering part of it. Great. We called the cops, but since they both live outside of Lafayette, they couldn't be picked up then and there (Jeremiah called him up to see if he'd come back, so the cops could arrest him, but then Jeremiah started threatening him on the phone IN FRONT OF THE COPS. So that didn't work well. lol.)
After the cops left, the chick called back to apologize, feeling horrible, and saying they'd pay for it all. And once the dude sobered up, he apologized too, feeling horrible. He even apparently threw out all his drug stuff. Which is good, I guess. But no one here has much faith in how long it'll stay thrown out.
Other drama that party has given us: morning after we had some nude people fucking on their porch, when April had Connor coming over. After the hurricane, some fucktard thought Jeremiah's car belonged to the party host, and jumped on it after the host kicked him out for being too drunk (just foot prints, and a dent in the hood that went away as soon as it was opened), the plastic skull for halloween I put outside got stolen, and beer bottles and other shit are always being left around. Plus there's no parking anymore after 9:00 on fridays, once that party starts.
I can't wait til I graduate and can get a good job so we can both afford to move out to a better place.
